Smiths Station falls to South Carolina in Dixie Youth World Series

The Smiths Station Dixie Youth team lost 6-0 to South Carolina in the finals of the “O” Zone World Series on Thursday.

Smiths Station pounded out seven hits, but the team left eight runners on base.

Tucker Sims had two hits. Luke Hasty, Clayton Freeman, Caleb Johnson, Javi Marrero and Cade Flournoy had one apiece.
