TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The Tide recovered from an early 3-0 deficit to defeat Georgia 6-4 on Saturday at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.
The Bulldogs led 3-0 going into the fourth inning. Ben Moore battled his way around the bases in the fourth to get Alabama on the board. The Tide tied the game with a two-run fifth.
Hunter Cole scored for Georgia in the seventh.
The Tide seized the game with a three-run eighth, capped by Jon Kelton's two-RBI single to bring in Brett Booth and Austen Smith. Jay Shaw (Russell County) earned the win and Trey Pilkington earned the save for the Tide.

Alabama completed the regular season at 21-34 (9-21 SEC) and Georgia finished at 31-24 (14-15 SEC).georgia tech 2, miami 1
ATLANTA -- Jake Davies homered in the second and Daniel Palka homered in the sixth to lift the Yellow Jackets past Miami.
Cole Pitts earned the win and Zane Evans earned the save for Georgia Tech.
Tech ended the regular season at 32-24 (12-18 ACC), and clinched the final spot in the ACC tournament, which begins on Wednesday.
