Columbus State soccer wins fourth straight and 10th overall PBC title
The Columbus State soccer team won its 10th Peach Belt Conference regular-season championship — and fourth straight — on Friday without even taking the field.
With UNC Pembroke losing to Flagler on Friday, the Lady Cougars clinched the crown with a 10-1 record and 30 points (teams get three points for a win and one for a tie).
Pembroke, North Georgia and Armstrong State are tied for second with 26 points. All are 8-1-2.
CSU, 14-2 overall, closes out the regular season Saturday when it hosts Georgia College at 1 p.m. at the Walden Soccer Complex.
