Columbus State to host basketball shooter’s camp
Columbus State will hold a basketball camp in the Lumpkin Center for boys and girls ages 10 to 17 from June 26 to June 28. The camp will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a cost of $85. Those participating in the camp will also receive lunch, a t-shirt and a tour of the CSU campus.
“The emphasis and focus will be strictly on shooting during the three days of camp,” CSU men’s basketball coach Robert Moore said. “Correct form, elbow under the ball and staying square to the basket. If you are struggling to make shots, this is one of the best camps to show kids how to shoot and the time and effort you need to become a great shooter.”
