LAKELAND, Fla. — Columbus State has a lot of ground to make up if it going to win its fourth straight golf tournament.
The Cougars are tied for eighth at 583 after rounds of 287 and 296 at the Matlock Tournament, hosted by Florida Southern.
Clayton State leads at 564 (12 under).
Columbus State’s Michael Hicks is tied for second in the individual standings at 4 under 140 (67-73). Andrew Georgiou is tied for 10th at 143 (73-70). Tied for 45th at 150 are Steven Paine (74-76) and Michael Lee (73-77). In 64th place at 155 is J.P. van der Walt (77-78).
