Three Columbus State soccer players earn preseason honors

AUGUSTA. Ga. -- Three Columbus State soccer players were named to the Preseason All-Peach Belt Conference team, it was announced Wednesday.

The 11-player team was voted on by the coaches, who were not allowed to vote for their players.

Person, who earned all-PBC honors last season, scored six goals, including three game-winners, while adding four assists. Person, a senior, has 19 career goals, the ninth most in program history, and has 46 career points.

Rolling is a three-time All-Conference and All-Southeast Region player. She was the anchor of the CSU defense that surrendered just 0.59 goals per game in 2014. With Rolling and goalkeeper Maylyn Parsons, the Lady Cougars had a PBC leading 14 shutouts.
