Lady Cougars defeat Lee in CSU College Invitational finale

Nicole Corcione scored a pair of goals as Columbus State beat Lee 7-2 on Sunday afternoon at Walden Soccer Complex.
The game was the finale of the CSU Collegiate Invitational. CSU opened the tournament with a 2-0 victory over Lynn on Friday.
Hugrun Elvarsdottir, Cassandra Wade and Mandy Janowitz also scored goals for the Lady Cougars (2-0).
Keeper Maylyn Parsons made eight saves and gave up the two goals.
Corcione scored the match's first goal at the 8:43 mark.
The Flames tied it at 62:45 on a Summer Lanter goal.
Janowitz scored at 70:18 to give CSU the lead. Elvarsdottir scored just 2:19 later. Corcione scored her second goal at 75:53. Wade finished CSU's scoring at 83:07.
CSU has gone 23-0-1 in its last 24 regular-season games. The last loss came Oct. 23, 2013, against North Georgia.
The Lady Cougars go on the road this weekend to play at Tampa on Friday and at Rollins on Sunday.
