Tampa hands CSU soccer first loss of season
TAMPA, Fla. -- Tampa handed Columbus State its first loss, 2-1 on Friday night.
Tampa scored first at 3:49 on a goal by Nastasia Asgedom.
Columbus State tied the match at 32:35 on a goal by Shelby Rollins. Taylor Marks got the assist.
Cici Gonzalez gave Tampa a 2-1 lead at 70:41.
CSU keeper Maylyn Parsons made three saves.
CSU (2-1) plays at Rollins on Sunday. It will be a rematch of last season's NCAA quarterfinal, which Rollins won.
