CSU women golfers finish 8th at Full Moon Invitational
CALERA, Ala. -- Sarah Grace Drop shot a 10-over par 81 to lead Columbus State players Tuesday as the Lady Cougars finished eighth at the Full Moon Invitational.
Drop finished at 160 for the two-day tournament. That was good enough for a tie for 21st place.
CSU had a team total of 337 on the second and a total of 671 for the tournament.
Montevallo, which hosted the tournament, won with a score of 590. The rest of the top five were West Georgia (611), West Alabama (618), Shorter (632) and Young Harris (635).
Other CSU players' final score and place of finish were Shelby Banta 168 (tied for 30th), Jordan Booker 171 (34th), Hannah Holland 172 (tied for 35th) and Bailey Hochgertle 179 (38th).
CSU returns to action Sept. 26-27 at the Lady Bearcat Invitational hosted by Lander at Hilton Head, S.C.
