Columbus State moves up to finish ninth at Saint Leo Invitational
DADE CITY, Fla. -- The Columbus State men's golf team moved up one place and finished ninth in the Saint Leo Invitational on Tuesday at Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club.
The Cougars shot a final-round 5-over-par 293 for a three-round total of 2-under 862.
Barry won the 16-team event with a score of 28-under 836 after a final round 288. Lynn, which led after Day 1, shot a 12-over 300 to finish fourth at 845..
TaeHyung Kim was CSU's leading player Tuesday. He shot a 3-under 69 to finish tied for ninth at 8-under 208.
The rest of the CSU players were Yannick Gumowski (tie-23rd, 72-214), Gideon van der Vyver (t-32, 72-217), Taylor Martin (t-67, 80-226).
Robert Mize did not play due to an undisclosed injury.
