Montevallo sweeps past Columbus State 3-0

MONTEVALLO, Ala. -- Montevallo swept past Columbus State 3-0 on Tuesday night in a Peach Belt Conference volleyball match.

The Cougars dropped to 2-11 overall and 0-3 in the PBC.

Freshman Abby King led CSU with nine kills, and Megan Frame added eight.

Cori Ehmen had 29 assists and eight digs. Caytlin Merritt had 13 digs.

After 13 straight matches on the road, CSU will play its first home match Friday against Lander at 7 p.m.
