Columbus State drops one spot to finish sixth in North Georgia
DAHLONEGA, Ga. -- The Columbus State men's golf team dropped one position on Tuesday and finished sixth in the North Georgia Fall Invitational.
The Cougars shot a final-round 292 on Tuesday to finish at 1-under 863.
Lee won at 28-under 836, followed by Carson-Newman (840), West Georgia (847), Georgia Southwestern (849) and Young Harris (860).
Gideon van der Vyver led CSU again. He shot a 71 to finish tied for 11th at 4-under 212.
CSU's other players were TaeHyung Kim (tie-19th, 73-215), Duncan van der Vyver (t-26, 72-217), Taylor Martin (t-33, 76-219) and Zachary Close (t-78, 78-231).
CSU's top player, Robert Mize, was injured in last week's tournament.
