CSU volleyball team loses to UNC Pembroke, Francis Marion
Megan Frame had eight kills to pace Columbus State, but the Lady Cougars fell to UNC Pembroke Saturday at the Lumpkins Center.
UNC Pembroke (5-17, 2-8 Peach Belt Conference) won 3-0 (25-19, 25-14, 25-23).
Columbus State (2-19, 0-11) got five kills each from Payten Joy, Andrea Skipor and Malaisia Stallworth.
In action Friday night, Francis Marion outlasted CSU 3-2 (25-11, 21-25, 18-25, 25-18, 15-13).
Frame had a career-high 21 kills to lead the Lady Cougars. Cori Ehmen recorded 41 assists and 13 digs.
CSU returns to action Saturday in tri-match against Queens (North Carolina) and Carson-Newman at Jefferson City, Tenn.
