CSU women move up two spots to finish fifth
DAHLONEGA, Ga. -- Columbus State moved up two spots and finished fifth Tuesday in the Lee Ann Noble Memorial.
The Lady Cougars shot a 324 on Tuesday -- 19 shots better than the first round -- at Achasta Golf Club to finish the two-round event at 667.
Lee University won with a 609, followed by West Georgia (610), West Alabama (624), North Georgia (640).
Sarah Grace Drop (Pacelli) again led CSU by shooting a 5-over-par 77 to finish at 12-over 156, good enough for 13th place. That was her best finish of the season.
CSU's other players were Bailey Hochgertle (tie-22nd, 79-165), Jordan Booker (t-33rd, 83-173), Shelby Banta (t-3thth, 85-174) and Hannah Holland (Northside, 46th, 91-80).
CSU plays next week at the Flagler Fall Slam in St. Augustine, Fla.
