Columbus State men third in Peach Belt cross country championships; women fourth

OAKWOOD, Ga. -- The Columbus State men's cross country team finished third in the Peach Belt Conference championships Saturday. The CSU women finished fourth.

UNC Pembroke won the men's race with 49 points, followed by Augusta with 64, CSU with 77, Georgia College with 130 and Flagler with 146.

CSU's Ryan McFall and Cordaryl Whitehead both finished top-15 finishes and earned All-PBC honors. McFall finished fourth with a time of 25 minuites and 57 seconds. Whitehead finished eighth in 26:32.8.

CSU's other runners were Hussen Sadik (16th, 27:04.8), Jacob Dirkman (21st, 27:16.1) and Austin Stewart (28th, 27:27.8).

Montevallo won the women's race with 26 points, followed by North Georgia (93), UNc pembroke (103) and CSU (128).

Rayna Green led CSU by finishing sixth in 22:56.8, earning all-conference honors.

CSU's other runners were Kaitlynn Howard (20th, 24:03.7), Sydney Tenney (31st, 24;30.2), Kayla Parsons (35th, 24:40.6) and Amber Braswll (39th, 24;49.4).
