Columbus State soccer wins 10th straight
GREENWOOD, S.C. -- The Columbus State soccer team won its 10th straight match Saturday, 4-0 over Lander at Van Taylor Stadium.
The Lady Cougars (13-2-1, 8-0-1 Peach Belt Conference) also extended its unbeaten streak to 12 games.
Taylor Marks got CSU on the board in the eighth minute, and Andi Larese added one in the 33rd miknute.
Marks scored her second goal of the game just over a minute later.
Nicole Corcione finished the scoring in the 54th minute with her 12th goal of the season.
Maylyn Parsons made five saves in 79 minutes of play.
CSU hosts Montevallo at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
