Columbus state men's team in 4th at UIS Island Getaway

The Columbus State men's golf team is in fourth place after shooting a 15-over-par 303 Monday in the first round of the UIS Island Getaway.

Tiffin leads at 304, followed by North Alabama at 295 and Missouri-St. Louis 297.

TaeHyung Kim, Yannick Gumowski and Jack Stumpfig led CSU with a 3-over 75s. They are tied for 11th.

CSU's Taylor Martin shot a 78 and is in a tie for 30th.

Brookstone alum Robert Mize's 80 was the team's drop score for the round. He is tied for 46th.

The final round is scheduled for today.
