Columbus State women's golf team opens play in World Golf Invitational


ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The Columbus State women's golf team shot a 363 on Sunday and is in 18th place in the World Golf Invitational, which is being played at the Slammer and Squire Course.

Florida Tech leads by six shots after a 301. Keiser is at 307 with Barry at 308, SCAD at 311 and Nova Southeastern at 312. North Georgia is 17th with a 349.

Bailey Hochgertle led CSU with an 87, followed by Shelby Banta with an 88, Sarah Grace Drop with a 91 and Jordan Booker with a 97. Hannah Holland's 98 was the drop score of the round.

The 18 teams will tee off in the final round Monday.
