Game times set for Peach Belt semifinals at Columbus State's Lumpkin Center
The Columbus State basketball teams will continue their quests to win Peach Belt Conference tournament championships on Saturday at the Lumpkin Center.
The semifinals will be played on Saturday with the finals on Sunday.
By virtue of their win on Sunday, the Lady Cougars are the hosts for the two days.
The men will play in the early time slots each day. In the semifinals, Lander will take on Lander at 1 p.m. with CSU playing Augusta at 3:30 p.m.
The women's semifinals will begin at 6 with CSU playing Augusta. In the nightcap, Lander will face Clayton State.
The men's championship game will start at 1:30 p.m. Sunday with the women to follow at 4.
The two winners receive the automatic bids to the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional.
The CSU men are currently ranked No. 5 in the Southeast rankings. The CSU women are second. The top eight are invited. The NCAA bids will be announced on Sunday night.
