Columbus State men’s golf team finishes seventh at Bobcat

The Columbus State men’s golf team finished seventh Tuesday in the Bobcat Invitational, which was played at Cuscowilla at Eatonton, Ga.

The Cougars shot a 300 on Tuesday to finish the three-round event at 44-over-par 884.

Lynn won the team title with a 864 with Florida Southern second at 873 and Barry at 874.

Robert Mize led the Cougars with a 73 Tuesday to finish in a tie for 16th at 9-over 219. TaeHyung Kim had a 74 to finish tied for 24th at 221 with Gideon Van Der Vyver, who had a 77.

Yannick Gumowski had a 76 to finish in a tie for 38th at 226.

Duncan Van Der Vyver had Tuesday’s drop score of 79. He finished in a tie for 47th at 228.
