CSU men’s golf tied for 6th at Bearcat Golf Classic

The Columbus State men’s golf team finished tied for sixth at the Bearcat Golf Classic after two rounds of play on Monday in Greenwood, S.C.

After two rounds, the Cougars totaled 588, 17 strokes back of first-place Young Harris College. Gideon Van Der Vyver and Robert Mize lead the way for the team with a total of 146 through two rounds.

Despite being 17 behind first place, Columbus State is just one stroke out of fourth place, four out of third and five out of second.

Play will conclude with the last two rounds on Tuesday.
