CSU women golf team finishes sixth at West Georgia Invitational

The Columbus State women’s golf team shot 335 Tuesday and finished in sixth place at the University of West Georgia Invitational.

CSU had a three-day total of 1,004. West Alabama won the tournament with a score of 895. West Georgia (904) finished second and UNC Pembroke (925) was third. Young Harris (937) and North Georgia (974) were fourth and fifth.

Sarah Grace Drop shot the team low 81 Tuesday for a 24th place finish.

Other CSU players Tuesday scores and finishes were Bailey Hochgertle 87 (28th), Shelby Banta 83 (30th), Jordan Booker 91 (31st) and Hannah Holland 84 (33rd).

CSU will play in the Peach Belt Championship April 15-17 in Saint Augustine, Fla.
