Columbus State tennis teams to host NCAA regionals
The Columbus State tennis teams were both selected as hosts for the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional.
Both will be No. 2 seed and host a four-team regional.
The 10th-ranked Cougars (17-5) are in the NCAAs for the 17th time and ninth straight. They are a host for the sixth time in the past seven years.
CSU will face seventh-seeded USC Aiken at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Blackmon Tennis Center. In the other match, Lander will face Francis Marion at 1 p.m. Saturday.
The winners will play at 3 p.m. Sunday.
The ninth-ranked Lady Cougars (19-6) are in the NCAAs for the 20th time and 15th straight.
CSU will host Queens at 9 a.m. Sunday. Flagler and USC Aiken will play at noon Sunday.
The winners will play at 1 p.m. Monday.
