Auburn’s new 2020 football opponents are out. See who the Tigers play this fall
Auburn’s 2020 football opponents are official.
The Tigers, along with the rest of the SEC, learned their new opponents Friday, when the conference released further details of its 10-game, conference-only schedule. The actual schedule has not yet been announced.
The Tigers added a road game against South Carolina and a home game vs. Tennessee, replacing canceled games against Alcorn State, North Carolina, Southern Miss and UMass.
The only notable game Auburn will miss out on is the UNC game, originally scheduled to be played in Atlanta.
The league has also moved back the start of the season to Sept. 26 and the SEC Championship Game to Dec. 19.
Further decisions regarding safety standards related to athletics events, tailgating and other game day activities, including social distancing, face covering and other health measures, will be announced at a later date.
