AUBURN, Ala. - The city of Auburn Environmental Services Department, in conjunction with the Keep Auburn Beautiful Committee, will host the "March for Clean" Litter-Free Campaign beginning today and running through Friday.
The campaign will consist of a series of litter stops in neighborhoods throughout Auburn. Organizers will distribute litter bags for cars and flower seed packets. The city is asking residents to utilitze the litter bags in their cars and keep Auburn's streets and sidewalks free of litter. Citizens are also encouraged to plant the seeds in their yards and help Keep Auburn Beautiful.
Stops will be held in the following locations from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. CDT each day:Today: Cox Road near Wire RoadTuesday: Spencer Avenue near Drake Middle SchoolWednesday: East Veterans BoulevardThursday: Drake Avenue between Gay Street and Hudson TerraceFriday: West Longleaf Drive
