Auburn-Florida baseball game suspended in fifth inning

AUBURN, Ala. — Friday’s game between Auburn and Florida was suspended in the fifth inning due to rain and the possibility of tornados.

Florida leads the game 4-1 in the top of the fifth with a man on and one out. The game will resume today at 2 p.m. with the second game beginning 45 minutes after the conclusion of the opener.

Auburn’s only run came on a Josh Sander’s homer run — his 15th of the season — in the bottom of the fourth.
