Nick Marshall, Reese Dismukes and Gabe Wright to represent Auburn at media days

AUBURN, Ala.Gus Malzahn will be flanked by three of his team's seniors when Auburn kicks off SEC media days next week

Quarterback Nick Marshall, center Reese Dismukes and defensive tackle Gabe Wright are set to be the Tigers' players representatives at media days, according to the official list released by the SEC league office on Wednesday. The event begins Monday with commissioner Mike Slive at 1:30 p.m. ET. As the coach of the defending conference champion, Malzahn will be the next at the podium and the players will follow shortly thereafter.

This marks the second straight year Malzahn has decided to send three seniors to media days, following Chris Davis, Dee Ford and Jay Prosch in 2013.

Marshall is the first Auburn quarterback to appear at SEC media days since Brandon Cox in 2007. Dismukes is considered one of the best centers in the country and was on the Rimington Trophy preseason watch list released on Tuesday. Wright, a Carver alum, is the Tigers' most productive returning defensive lineman, registering 31 total tackles (8.5 for loss) last year along with three sacks.
