4 at 4: Greg Robinson's 'head start' at Rams training camp leads the way in afternoon links

AUBURN, Ala. — It's been a fairly busy day, so let's not waste any time. You know the format by now: Four items, four links (plus a few more, sometimes.)

Let's get started.

1. On Wednesday, this space noted Dee Ford's readiness to get things going in Kansas City. Today, we head across the state for another Auburn grad: No. 2 overall pick Greg Robinson. In an interview earlier this week, Robinson said he was pleased to have already gone through the Rams' rookie minicamp and organized team activities, calling it "a head start" on the team's training camp, which opens Friday.

2. In some somber news from the NFL, receiver Sidney Rice has decided to retire. Only 27 years old, he had a long list of injuries, missing 31 games in seven seasons. Though it wasn't directly stated, it was implied the main reason the former South Carolina star decided to call it quits was due to lingering issues from concussions.

3. Keeping with what we did here Wednesday, here's Bill Barnwell (who writes for Grantland) and Part II of his take on the top trade assets in the NFL. (Note that it even includes a Carolina quarterback of some renown.)

4. As is customary, the final item is reserved for a video. By now, Auburn fans have seen Chris Davis' game-winning field goal return in the Iron Bowl about, oh, a million times. (Maybe more.)

This morning, Auburn's athletic department released a version of the return you've likely never seen.
