AUBURN, Ala. — Auburn added another member to its 2015 recruiting recruiting class Thursday.
Chris Westry, a 6-foot-4, 180-pound defensive back from Orange Park, Fla., gave his pledge to the Tigers on Thursday afternoon. The announcement came from the official Twitter page of Oakleaf High School, where Westry plays. At the moment, the reviews on him are mixed depending on which recruiting service one goes by; Scout and 247Sports have him rated as a three-star prospect, while Rivals gives him two stars.
Westry attended Auburn's "16 Elite Camp" over the weekend, receiving an offer Sunday.
He becomes the Tigers' 18th verbal commitment for the 2015 cycle.
