AUBURN, Ala. — When teams hit a rough patch, similar to what Auburn is experiencing right now in the midst of a two-game losing streak, it's common for changes to occur and lineups to get reshuffled.
But Gus Malzahn said that won't be happening with his team.
"Not at this point," Auburn's coach responded Tuesday when asked about seeing new faces crack the starting lineup.
Specifically, Shon Coleman's job security has been questioned. The starting left tackle has struggled against top-tier defensive ends this season, and had two costly holding penalties last week.
Both negated first downs for the Tigers.
"Shon Coleman, he's a very good player. He's like any other player," Malzahn said. "There's other players that have good games and bad games. We have a lot of confidence in Shon but at this point we're not ready to say that there's going to be any changes."
