Auburn hands out 2014 team awards prior to A-Day kickoff
AUBURN, Ala. — Prior to Saturday's kickoff, Auburn recognized its award winners from last year.
Former quarterback Nick Marshall was named the Pat Sullivan Award winner for top offensive player, while Jonathan Jones won the Zeke Smith Award for top defensive performer.
Former center Reese Dismukes brought home the Ken Rice Award for the best blocking lineman; former right guard Chad Slade was designated as Great Southern Wood Lineman of the Year for top lineman of the previous season.
Other winners included defensive back Johnathan "Rudy" Ford (Mike Kolen Award for top tackler) and former running back Cameron Artis-Payne (Shug Jordan Award for most outstanding senior football player).
