Two players were injured during Auburn’s 17-9 loss to Mississippi State Saturday night.

Linebacker Tre Williams, starting in place of Cassanova McKinzy, left the game in the third quarter when he appeared to injury his left knee. He didn’t put any weight on the leg as trainers helped him off the field.

He didn’t return to the game, and finished the night with three tackles and one for a loss.

Running back Roc Thomas injured his leg in the fourth quarter, and didn't finish the game.

During his post-game press conference, coach Gus Malzahn didn’t know any details about the extent of Thomas’ injury. Thomas had three catches for 12 yards, and caught three passes for 18 yards in the loss.
