Fourth Quarter

Auburn 30, Kentucky 27 (4:06): Two pass interference calls on Auburn's secondary helped Kentucky score a touchdown with 4:06 to go. Mikel Horton scored on a 1-yard rush.

Auburn 30, Kentucky 20 (7:56): A fumble by Peyton Barber was overturned on replay to keep a drive alive for Auburn that ended in the running back's second touchdown of the game. Sean White set the touchdown up with a terrific 34-yard pass to Ricardo Louis. White had to step up in the pocket to avoid the pass rusher, and nailed Louis in the seam down at Kentucky's 12-yard line.

Third Quarter

Auburn 23, Kentucky 20 (1:03): Patrick Towles kept a drive going with a 13-yard run on a third-and-11 inside Auburn territory to get Kentucky within field goal range down 23-17. Dorian Baker dropped a would-be touchdown pass from Towles that forced the Wildcats to turn to Austin MacGinnis for a 31-yard field goal.

Auburn 23, Kentucky 17 (11:49): Kentucky didn't waste any time coming out of halftime getting on the board. Patrick Towles went 4 of 4 on the drive for 50 yards, and Boom Williams scored his second touchdown of the game on a 6-yard run.

Second Quarter

Auburn 23, Kentucky 10 (0:00): Auburn forced a quick three and out to get the ball back with 47 seconds to go in the first half. Daniel Carlson hit a 52-yard field goal as time expired, but the damage was almost much worst for Kentucky. An uncovered Tony Stevens made a spectacular catch in the corner of the end zone that almost went for a touchdown. White overthrew it a little, and Stevens caught the ball falling out of bounds. His forearm touched just before he was able to get foot down in bounds. Officials upheld the ruling of an incomplete pass on review.

Auburn 20, Kentucky 10 (1:43): Auburn had to settle for a field goal for a second time in the red zone. Daniel Carlson hit a 29-yard field goal inside of two minutes. The Tigers opened the drive with a pair of completions then ran the ball six straight times.

Auburn 17, Kentucky 10 (4:55): Kentucky failed on three chances from Auburn's 10-yard line to score a touchdown. Rudy Ford came through with a key sack on third down to force the Wildcats to settle for a 28-yard field goal. The Tigers secondary was shaky on the drive giving up a pair of long third down conversions through the air.

Auburn 17, Kentucky 7 (8:59): Daniel Carlson hit a 34-yard field goal to push Auburn's lead to 10 points. The Tigers drive stalled at the the Wildcats' 17-yard line. It was the third time the offense made it inside the red zone this half.

Auburn 14, Kentucky 7 (12:02): Freshman defensive back Carlton Davis picked off Kentucky quarterback Patrick Towles in the end zone. Davis' interception snapped the Wildcats streak of 20 straight red zone conversions. It was Davis second interception in as many games.

First Quarter

Auburn 14, Kentucky 7 (6:10): Sean White and Ricardo Louis look like they are on the same page early in tonight's game. White completed two more passes to Louis, one for 41 yards, on another extended drive. Kerryon Johnson scored on a 6-yard run to put Auburn back in front.

Auburn 7, Kentucky 7 (8:46): Boom Williams broke a 60-yard run, and scored two plays later to even the score against Auburn. Williams was responsible for all but seven of the Wildcats 75-yards on the drive.

Auburn 7, Kentucky 0 (11:07): Peyton Barber capped off a 12-play, 80-yard drive with a 1-yard touchdown run. Sean White converted three third downs through the air, and Kentucky committed a costly personal foul inside the 20-yard line.

Pregame Notes

Auburn: Auburn's official website revealed Sean White as the starting quarterback prior to kickoff Thursday night. He fended off Jeremy Johnson, who was looking to regain the starting job after he was demoted following an embarrassing loss at LSU in week three. It is White's third straight start for the Tigers, and the first-year player's third career start overall.
