Blake Countess gave the offense possession at the Tigers' 39-yard line. Most of Auburn's yards on the drive came on a trick play by Ryan Davis. Davis carried the ball 28-yards on his first career touch.

Auburn 17, Texas A&M 3 (12:29): Jeremy Johnson connected with Kerryon Johnson down Auburn's sideline for a 34-yard completion, his longest of the game, to set up a 35-yard field goal from Daniel Carlson.

Second Quarter

Auburn 14, Texas A&M 3 (0:00): Auburn's offense went 5 of 5 on third down through the first quarter and a half then closed out the second quarter going 0 of 3. Auburn 14, Texas A&M 3 (13:40): Jovon Robinson put Auburn on his back on its second drive. He had 58 yards on the 80-yard drive including a 1-yard touchdown run on third down at the goal line. It was the junior college transfer's first touchdown in a Tigers' jersey. Jeremy Johnson continued his hot hand completing three more passes to push his streak without an incompletion to nine.

First Quarter

Johnson made a nice throw to Melvin Ray for a 17-yard gain to move the chains on a third-and-six, and Jovon Robinson put the ball inside the 10-yard line with a 16-yard run.

Texas A&M 3, Auburn 0 (11:25): Texas A&M won the opening coin toss and elected to receive. Speedy Noil ran the kickoff 39 yards to give the Aggies strong field position, which the offense took advantage off. Kyler Murray got his time across midfield where Taylor Bertolet was able to connect with a 50-yard field goal.
