Fourth Quarter

Georgia 17, Auburn 10: (9:28): Auburn went three and out for a fourth straight possession in the second half. Kevin Phillips had to punt from the end zone. His kick made it to midfield, but Isaiah McKenzie returned it 53-yard for a touchdown.

Third Quarter

Auburn 10, Georgia 10 (1:20): Auburn had Georgia stopped on a third down inside the 25-yard line, but a facemask penalty by Rudy Ford gave the Bulldogs a fresh set of downs at the 12-yard line. Georgia was able to score its first touchdown thanks to a 4-yard run from D'Andre Walker.

Second Quarter

Auburn 10, Georgia 3 (0:34): Auburn closed out the first half with a 42-yard field goal from Daniel Carlson. It was his 13th consecutive make, setting a new school record.

Auburn 7, Georgia 3 (4:00): Georgia had to settle for a field goal off Auburn's turnover. Marshall Morgan hit a 40-yard field goal after the Bulldogs couldn't convert on a third-and-1 at Auburn's 23-yard line. Georgia made an ill-advised attempt to throw the ball on the third-and-short. Cassanova McKinzy sacked Greyson Lambert for a loss of 10 yards on the play.

Auburn 7, Georgia 0 (10:26): Auburn's defense forces a turnover on downs at the goal line, but the offense turned the ball over at midfield. Jeremy Johnson threw his seventh interception of the season, a pass picked off by Malkom Parrish at Georgia's 40-yard line.

First Quarter

Auburn 7, Georgia 0 (10:24): Auburn opened the game with an 11-play, 75-yard scoring drive. Kerryon Johnson scored with an 8-yard run from the wildcat formation. Jeremy Johnson was perfect on the Tigers’ opening possession for a second week in a row going 4 of 4 for 19 yards while Peyton Barber and Jovon Robinson split carries to get the offense going. Robinson had a 23-yard run to get Auburn inside the red zone.

Pregame Notes

Auburn announced Jeremy Johnson is starting at quarterback. Other changes to starting lineup include Chandler Cox starting at fullback, and Blake Countess along with Stephen Roberts starting at safety.
