Demolition work on the War Eagle Supper Club will continue through the week, but most of the time will be spent cleaning up the site.
On Tuesday afternoon, the W.T. Miller began work at the location with a lone excavator. The long-standing nightclub was rumble on the ground by the end of the work day.
The former Auburn hot-spot closed at the end of December after more than 60 years of operation. Hundreds of Auburn fans gathered for an auction of the club's memorabilia collection before it closed.
