Sacramento State rallies to defeat Auburn 6-5
AUBURN, Ala. -- Sacramento State rallied for four runs in the top of the eight inning Saturday to erase a 5-2 deficit and defeat Auburn at Plainsman Park.
Auburn's Niko Buentello hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth inning to break a 2-2 tie and give the Tigers the lead. Cody Nulph went 2-for-2 with a double for Auburn.
Justin Camp went six strong innings, allowing two runs on five hits. He struck out six. Marc Frazier (0-1) took the loss in relief.
Auburn hosts Kennesaw State Tuesday at 4 p.m. The game is available online only on SEC Plus.
