Alabama baseball rolls over LSU

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The Crimson Tide’s Brandon May went 4-for-4 with four RBIs and two runs and Wes Henderson was 3-for-5 with three RBIs and three runs to lead Alabama over LSU 13-5.

Alabama took a 1-0 lead in the third and matched LSU’s five-run fifth in the bottom of the frame before pulling away with a six-run sixth inning.

LSU scored one in the seventh and two in the eighth, but the Tide held off the rally by scoring two runs in each of the innings.

Del Howell pitched seven innings allowing 10 hits and fiver earned runs while striking out nine to get the win for Alabama.
