Alabama escapes scrimmage without major injuries
Alabama escaped its second scrimmage without any major injuries, according to Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban.
Saban said two offensive linemen were banged up on Saturday, but neither was a significant injury based on the early prognosis.
"Dominick Jackson strained his shoulder," Saban said. "He may be out for a couple of days. And Korren Kirven got a sprained knee, and we think it's an MCL, which Robert Foster had an MCL last week and he didn't miss any time. But this one, probably a week maybe at the most. I don't like to make predictions."
Jackson has been working at right tackle with the first-team offense since spring practice. Kirven, a former defensive lineman, has been a backup tackle since moving to the offensive side of the ball.
Alabama will have two days off before returning to the field on Tuesday.
