Allen chooses Clemson over Georgia

ATHENS, Ga. -- Georgia's expected signing class is down one name after four-star tight end Dwayne Allenexperienced a last-minute change of heart and signed with Clemson.

The Fayetteville, N.C. standout reaffirmed his commitment to Georgia at a press conference onMonday after flirting with Clemson, but switched back to Tommy Bowden and the Tigers Wednesday morning.

Georgia's remaining 24 commitments' letters of intent gradually rolled across the Bulldogs coaching staff'sfax machine on Wednesday, leaving Mark Richt's staff with a class that still ranks among the nation's top five.
