Georgia football: Closer look at tonight's game at Colorado

Georgia (1-3) at Colorado (2-1), 7 p.m. (FOXSN)

Line: Georgia 4 1/2.

Series Record: Georgia leads 1-0.

Last Meeting: 2006, Georgia, 14-13 in Athens.

WHAT’S AT STAKE

Georgia is reeling after three straight losses. The Bulldogs need a win just to keep this season from completely falling apart.

KEY MATCHUP

Georgia’s defense vs. Colorado‘s offense. The Buffaloes like to pass, but they have given up eight sacks. The defense had a hard time getting off the field against Mississippi State, allowing too many third-down conversions.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Georgia: WR A.J. Green. The Dogs’ star returns from his NCAA-imposed four-game suspension. But he can’t do it by himself. QB Aaron Murray has been running for his life and the running game non-existent as the offensive line has been poor at best.

Colorado: RB Rodney Stewart. He has 253 yards rushing this season. If Georgia generates a pass rush, Stewart might get additional carries to try to slow the Dogs’ defense.
