Some quick notes:

- At tailback, Isaiah Crowell is closer to returning than Richard Samuel.

Richt said t"here's a chance" that Crowell could be ready by Friday. Samuel is closer to next week as far as a return.

"As you watch the move around, Isaiah looks closer to being ready," Richt said.

Richt said it would be more important for Crowell to return than Samuel, considering the latter's two years of playing experience.

"We've still got to learn some more about Isaiah, just as far as how much he does know, how much he understands, how well can he stand up to some of the blitzes and all that kind of stuff and pass protection," Richt said. "We've seen enough to know he's capable. He didn't have any fear or anything like that."

- Richt said the snaps weren't that great in the scrimmage. Brandon Bogotay also missed a field goal.
