Georgia wins twice at South Carolina

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Georgia won twice at South Carolina on Saturday. The Dogs won 6-5 in the first game, which was the completion of a game that was suspended due to rain Friday. The Dogs then won 4-3 in the regularly-schedule game.

In the second game, Georgia (18-10, 5-3 SEC) scored two in the first and two more in the second. Trevor Kieboom (CVCC) went 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Dogs.

Friday night's game was suspended with the score tied at 5 going into the ninth. Georgia won the game with a run in the 11th.

Keegan McGovern led off with a single. Kieboom laid down a sacrifice bunt to send pinch-runner DJ Smith to second. Mike Bell followed with a single up the middle to score Smith with the go-ahead run.
