Georgia lost another recruit from its 2017 recruiting class.

On Wednesday, Glynn Academy athlete Deejay Dallas announced he is decommitting from Georgia. Dallas, a four-star prospect according to the 247Sports.com composite, originally committed to the Bulldogs in July at Dawg Night.

With Georgia firing Mark Richt and hiring Kirby Smart, it seems Dallas wants a chance to re-evaluate his situation.

"After sitting down with my family and praying long and hard about this I have decided to decommit from the University of Georgia," Dallas wrote on his personal twitter account. "I feel like I need a clean slate to evaluate each option and make sure that wherever I go whether it be UGA or any other school that it is a perfect match for me. My de-commitment doesn't mean that UGA isn't an option anymore, it just means that I want to be sure that this is the right move for me as a person and as a player. Thank you & God Bless."

Georgia is recruiting Dallas as an athlete with an emphasis on being a receiver. Dallas played this season at Glynn Academy as a quarterback. Dallas is the second 2017 recruit to decommit from Georgia this week, following McEachern quarterback Bailey Hockman.

Georgia's class of 2017 is now down to athlete Richard LeCounte III and wide receiver Devonta Smith.
