Central football maintains top spot in ASWA polls
After a hard-fought win last Friday, the Central Red Devils again drew recognition from the Alabama Sports Writers Association.
The Red Devils were once again ranked the top team in Class 7A after defeating region rival Auburn 34-28. Central garnered 24 first-place votes this week, five more than it did in the previous poll.
Below are all the polls in their entirety. Please note that the number in parentheses represents the number of first-place votes the team received, and the number to the right is the total points it received from the voters.
