For Jordan junior quarterback Emmanuel Mann, one moment stood out among the rest when he visited Alabama when the Crimson Tide played Colorado State on Sept. 16.

“The best part was getting to meet Nick Saban and shaking his hand,” Mann said. “I was in disbelief. It was like a dream come true.”

Mann has been an instant highlight machine for much of his junior season at Jordan. Through five games, he has thrown for 517 yards, rushed for 359 and combined for 11 total touchdowns. He is fresh off a two-point loss to Upson-Lee in which he posted 349 total yards.

Mann said he was amazed by every little thing about Alabama, especially the team’s indoor practice facility. Mann is still looking for his first offers, but he was certainly impressed with what the Crimson Tide had to offer.

“I could see myself at the University of Alabama one day,” Mann said.
