Central remains Class 7A’s No. 1 in latest ASWA polls

After a blowout victory over Opelika last Friday, the Red Devils stay cemented at the top of Class 7A in the Alabama Sports Writers Association’s latest polls.

Central drew 23 first-place votes after moving its record to 5-0. The Red Devils put their undefeated season on the line Friday when they play at Enterprise.

Below are the ASWA polls in their entirety. Please note that the number in parentheses represents the number of first-place votes the team received, and the number to the right is the total points it received from the voters.
