Marion County found offensive production from a number of players in its 49-12 victory over Central-Talbotton Friday.

The Eagles (7-1, 4-1) scored 36 unanswered points to open the showdown. Wide receiver Josh Rogers was responsible for three of the touchdowns, taking receptions to the end zone from 27, 65 and 21 yards, respectively. Running back Travon Matthews put up those other two touchdowns with 6-yard and 31-yard touchdown runs.

Central-Talbotton (2-6, 1-4) got on the board with a touchdown pass with 3:24 left before the half, but the Eagles had plenty of time to respond. They did just that when quarterback Trice McCannon scored on an 8-yard touchdown run only 16 seconds later.

Rogers ended the night with six receptions for 126 yards. Matthews, meanwhile, logged eight carries for 72 yards. McCannon had two total touchdowns, while fellow quarterback Jeff Oakes threw two touchdowns as well.
