Carver maintains No. 1 spot in latest girls basketball poll

The Carver Lady Tigers continue to set the pace in Class 4A basketball this year.

Kyle Sandy, whose website Sandy’s Spiel provides weekly boys and girls basketball rankings, has Carver once again ranked No. 1 in Class 4A. The Lady Tigers are now 4-0 on the young 2017-2018 season.

Carver isn’t the only local team ranked in Sandy’s latest polls. Marion County sits at No. 5 in Class A-Public, up one spot from last week. The Lady Eagles are 2-0 so far this year.
