Manchester, Carver ranked in latest boys basketball polls

As the calendar turns to 2018, the Manchester Blue Devils and the Carver Tigers continue to impress.

Kyle Sandy, whose website Sandy’s Spiel provides weekly boys and girls basketball rankings, has Manchester and Carver ranked in their respective classifications in his Week 8 poll. Manchester is up to No. 2 in Class A-Public, while Carver is No. 8 in Class 4A.

The Blue Devils have been rolling in Anzy Hardman’s first year back at the school, as the team is 11-0 to this point. The Tigers, meanwhile, are now 14-3 after beating Cairo on Jan. 6.
